While my background is in software dev and I definitely appreciate good specs, at the end of the day, my reviews are still heavily rooted in subjective listening. I built this site to find that perfect sweet spot - using just enough data to cut through the marketing nonsense, while really focusing on how the gear actually sounds and feels when the music plays.
